Are Meta Ads right for your business?
Meta Ads work differently from search. Instead of waiting for someone to look for you, you put your business in front of people based on where they live, what they’re interested in and how they’ve interacted with you before. That makes Meta strong for building demand, promoting offers and winning back website visitors who didn’t enquire the first time.
A good fit if you
Might not be the right time if
Creative matters more on Meta than on any other platform. If you don’t have images or video, Mariya can design them for you. If you sell to a small B2B audience, LinkedIn Ads may be the better fit.
What you get every month
Audience strategy
Audiences built from location, interests and your own customer data, then tested to find the ones that respond.
Ad copy and creative direction
Copy written for each audience, with clear briefs for images and video so your ads stop the scroll.
Pixel and Conversions API
The Meta Pixel and Conversions API set up properly, so results are still tracked when browsers block cookies.
Retargeting
Bringing back people who visited your site, watched your videos or engaged with your page.
Testing and optimisation
Regular tests on audiences, creative and offers, with budget moved towards what works.
Clear monthly reporting
A plain-English report showing spend, leads or sales and cost per result, plus what I’m testing next.
Campaign types I manage
The right campaign type depends on what you want people to do next. Most small businesses start with lead generation or sales, then add retargeting once there’s enough traffic to bring back.
Lead generation
Instant forms or website enquiries, ideal for service businesses wanting calls, quotes and bookings.
Sales
Campaigns optimised for purchases on your website, for online shops and bookable services.
Retargeting
Ads shown to people who visited your site, watched your videos or engaged with your page.
Reels and Stories
Full-screen vertical video placements on Facebook and Instagram, where strong creative makes the biggest difference.
Catalogue ads
Product ads built from your product feed, showing people the items they looked at on your site.
Advantage+ campaigns
Meta’s automated options for audiences, placements and creative, tested carefully against a manual setup.
How my fees work
Fixed monthly fee
Your fee is fixed within your ad spend band, so it doesn’t rise every time your budget does.
Ad spend paid to Meta
Your media budget goes straight to Meta from your own account, with nothing added on top.
Rolling monthly agreement
No 12-month contracts. If I’m not earning my place each month, you’re free to leave.
Strategy, targeting and ad copy are included. Images and video are optional, designed by Mariya at £50 an hour and quoted before any work starts.
How it works
1. Audit
I review your current ads, audiences and tracking, or your market if you’re starting fresh.
2. Plan
You get a plan covering audiences, offers, creative and budget.
3. Launch
I set up tracking, build the campaigns and go live once you’ve approved the ads.
4. Improve
Weekly testing and refinement, with results shown in your monthly report.
Who manages your account
I’m Stephen McAllister, a PPC consultant based in Clacton-on-Sea with more than 15 years in digital marketing. Every account is run by me. Nothing is passed to a junior account manager or outsourced, and you’ll always deal with me directly.
When campaigns need new images or video, Mariya McAllister handles the design work, so creative stays in-house too.

Meta Ads management in Essex and London
I work with small businesses across Essex, including Colchester, Chelmsford and Clacton-on-Sea, and in London. Meta Ads management works just as well remotely, so we can speak on Teams or by phone wherever you’re based in the UK.

Prefer to run your own ads? My Meta Ads training teaches you to manage Facebook and Instagram ads yourself, working on your live account.
Meta Ads management questions
I charge a fixed monthly fee within your ad spend band, rather than a percentage of your spend, so my fee doesn’t rise every time your budget does. Your ad spend is separate and paid directly to Meta from your own account. You’ll find the current packages on my pricing page.
Strategy, targeting and ad copy are included in the monthly fee. For images and video, you can supply your own or Mariya can design them at £50 an hour, quoted before she starts. If you already have photos or phone footage, I’ll often build the first ads around those to keep costs down.
Most campaigns run on both, and Meta shows each ad where it performs best. Younger audiences and visual products often do well on Instagram, while Facebook can reach a broader local audience. I’ll adjust placements if one is clearly working better for your business, rather than guessing at the start.
Enough for Meta to learn which people respond, which depends on your goal and audience size. A local service business needs a different budget from an online shop selling nationally. I’ll suggest a realistic starting budget on our first call, and tell you if it’s too small to give fair results.
The first few weeks are about testing audiences, creative and offers to see what people respond to. Most campaigns settle and improve over the first two to three months. Retargeting often works sooner, as it reaches people who already know your business and have shown some interest.
Yes. Ads can target specific towns, postcode areas or a radius around your premises, which suits local businesses across Essex and London. I’ll also look at how far your customers realistically travel to you, so budget isn’t spent on people who are unlikely to visit.
Yes. Your business portfolio, ad account and pages stay in your name with full admin access. I work in them as a partner, and if you ever decide to leave, the campaigns, audiences, pixel data and history all stay with you.
No. I work on a rolling monthly agreement, with no 12-month contracts. If I’m not earning my place each month, you’re free to leave. I’d rather keep clients because the results are there than because a contract says they have to stay.
Yes, and for some businesses it makes sense. If you have the time and want to stay hands-on, my Meta Ads training teaches you to plan, build and improve your own campaigns, working on your live account. Some businesses start with training and hand over later, and others do the reverse.
